Design should never interrupt. It should resolve.
This narrow, vertical pool was not chosen out of compromise but through intention. Rather than impose a standard rectangular layout that would bisect the backyard or disrupt the natural sightlines, we studied the space and let the footprint of the home guide the geometry.
Listen to Jon talk about the design here.
The result is a design that aligns with the flow of the property—both visually and functionally.
- Vertical pool layout that mirrors the architecture
- Preserves full lawn for play, hosting, or quiet moments
- Clean stone decking with step-down lounge platform
- No visual obstruction from home to tree line
- Integration with existing outdoor elements, including garden beds and hardscapes
There is a temptation to design around the pool. In this case, the pool was designed around everything else. That is the difference between installation and composition.
At Currin Outdoor Living, we believe design is successful when it feels inevitable. If you are ready for a space that reflects thought rather than trend, we would be honored to help you shape it.
