Designs are charged on an hourly basis. Our design fee covers everything from our meetings and review sessions, to permitting, and material selection. Our design fee varies depending on the size and complexity of the individual project. Contact us for more information.

The design process takes on average 3-6 months, but can vary greatly depending on the scope and different elements of the project.

If you have designs from another company we’d be happy to set up a time to discuss what it might look like for Currin to take on the building process.

1. Design proposals are flat fees, paid up front. Once paid we start the design process!

2. Typical build projects are paid as a 35% initial deposit, at which time materials are ordered and a start date is scheduled. On the first day of the build project another 30% is requested and then 30% is requested upon 75% completion and 5% is due on the final day.

3. Maintenance projects are based on a yearly contract. We bill on the first day of the month, preceding that month’s service. This service can also be paid in full for the year, in which we offer a 3% discount!

We do! With our design process we will handle submitting for permits and HOA.

1. Permits will include additional fees that are assessed once approval is received. We send a bill to the client upon approval for the permits.

2. HOA paperwork should be sent to us at the beginning of a project, this will ensure our team is aware of any potential issues or regulations your HOA may have.

The physical pool, concrete shell and equipment, is built by another company.  We have a great network of pool builders that we prefer to work with and we will coordinate the entire design build with the pool builder for you. We do charge a 10% management fee on the pool proposal, which includes our time to manage schedules, expectations, ensure that the pool is being built per our design, and to be the only point of contact for the project. A separate invoice will be sent from our pool builder.

For more straightforward planting or grading jobs we are typically 30-45 days out from signed contracts. For a typical design / build project, the designs can take 2-5 months on the short side and once we have a signed contract for the install portion we are at least 60-90 days out.

We love installing dry laid patios! This means we install a compacted base either permeable or non permeable using the dry lay method (we discuss the differences during design meetings) and then we can install either a concrete paver (techo-bloc) or a natural stone paver (marble, travertine, and limestone from marmiro stones).

We have done simple front yard planting installs and we have done full estate landscape remodels.

We are able to design all over the world. Our design fees typically range from $2,000 for planting plans, $4,000-7,000 for a complete backyard renovation, to $7-15,000 for a pool backyard.  Our design process is very in depth and there’s a lot of time spent with you (the client) to get it right.
