So you're thinking about adding a pool. And if you're like most folks we talk to, you've probably spent hours scrolling through Pinterest boards full of stunning infinity edges and resort-style lagoons.

But here's what we’ve learned after years of designing pools: the "perfect" pool isn't about copying what looks good online. It's about how you actually want to live outside.

Think about it. Do you picture yourself doing laps before work, or floating on a raft with a book on Saturday afternoon? Are you imagining kids doing cannonballs all summer, or quiet evening swims after the sun goes down? The honest answers to those questions matter way more than whether you go with a geometric or freeform shape.

We've designed compact plunge pools for empty nesters who just want to cool off, and we've built sprawling family pools with tanning ledge entries for toddlers and built-in spas for the adults. None of them are better than the others (they're just different lives).

Here's the thing that surprises people: pool design isn't really about the pool at all. It's about the whole picture.

How does it fit with your patio? Where does the sun hit in the afternoon? What does the view look like from your kitchen window? A pool that works beautifully is one that feels like it was always meant to be there, you know what I mean? And that starts with understanding your yard, your routine, and what makes you actually want to be outside.

If you've been thinking about this for a while, let's talk through what makes sense for your space.

No pressure, no sales pitch. Just a conversation about what's possible and what fits the way you live.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
