There were challenges this property presented with space and elevation. Our design had to solve these issues while bringing attention to the details and craftwork. I believe our success is measured by the residence and their love for this space.
This project was designed to transform a contemporary home in Five Points, Raleigh into a personal retreat inspired by the homeowners’ favorite vacation destination. The goal was to create a backyard oasis that felt refined, intentional, and relaxing, while maximizing the potential of the space. Natural materials like marble glass tile and mahogany were used throughout to establish a warm, elevated aesthetic that carries across the entire property.
The outdoor living space features a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with Lynx appliances, Epay wood accents, bar seating, quartz countertops, and marble veneer finishes. A glass tile infinity edge pool serves as the focal point of the backyard, creating a striking visual backdrop. At the front of the home, a permeable Techo-Bloc driveway was installed to support both function and sustainability. Despite challenges related to space and elevation, the design successfully highlights craftsmanship and detail. The result is an everyday paradise that the homeowners continue to enjoy as a true extension of their home.
